Romantic Corset Lampshade
and Antique Cherub Lamp
This "One of a Kind" corset lampshade with embroidered vintage style
basket of flowers. This lovely lamp will go with most any decor whether it be Victorian, Shabby Chic or Paris Apartment. Can't you
just see this wonderful lamp setting your romantic boudoir.
I really enjoy
designing and creating this lampshade. It brought back memories of when I
made wedding dresses. With the silk shantung ruche sides that look just a
brides waist to the burnout silk velvet bottom that form the hips you can just
imagine it being a bride's corset.
Both the shantung silk and velvet are
off white over the palest peach silk charmeuse. Front accents are tone on tone
ivory embroidered vintage style basket of flower and embellished silk pale peach
ribbon adorned with tiny beads. Oodles of "Silk Rococo" flower trim in
pale peach and pale sage green surround the basket and accent many parts of this
shade. On the back is English netting and silk ribbon that form the corset
string that tie in a sweet bow at the bottom of the shade, again surrounded buy
this fabulous silk rococo trim. Finally "All Glass" hand beaded fringe of
ivory and pale peachy/pink with hanging flower beads finish off this wonderful
shade.
The shade is a
lush off white with the tiniest hint of color when it is the light is off.
But when lit the pale peach lining comes to life and glows this wonderful peachy
color. I think pale peach is the perfect companion color to all those
Shabby Chic pinks. It give depth and warmth making all those lovely pinks
look even more lush. It is also a perfect color for Paris Apartment, I can
see it setting in with all those crystal lamps and gold accents. Of
course it is perfect for Victorian, very romantic. I had better stop describing
this shade or I won't want to give it up. It is always hard to part with
each one of my creations. They take many hours to make and sometimes even
longer trying to find that "Perfect" combination of fabric, trims and beads.
Lamp is an
antique metal base (could be spelter magnet does not stick) that has been
restored to an off white antiqued to match this lampshade. Lamp has been
rewired with vintage style cord and plug. It stands 22" high and 7" at
the widest part of the base.
Shade 13.5"
x 8" wide by 13" tall including 2" beaded fringe. Together with the lamp it measures
24" from base to
top of shade.

Antique Marble Table Lamp
and Custom Lampshade
Lampshade is made of rich embroidered silk in olive green,
brown and tan accented with a metallic and rust trim. Beaded fringe in
shade of brown, green, crystal that compliment the colors of the silk.
Lampshade is oval in shape and measures 17" by 11" wide and 12" tall including
fringe.
Lamp is cast iron with two candle style lights accented with a green and
rust marble base. Lamp measures 24" tall from base to top of finial, 5"
wide at base and candle arms are 6 3/4" across.
Lamp is in working condition and has push button
stitch on base. Lamp cord was damaged and was replaced from base to plug with a vintage style
cord and original plug. The lamp has a switch at the bottom and the original
wires were spliced together to be able to have incorporated the switch. We
have soldered the wires together and added a protective wire sleeve. The
original wires inside the lamp look fine no breaks. Candle covers were replace with antique drip style covers
same as original which was badly damage. Stamped on bottom - ARTISTIC B.&BZ.

Vintage Candelabra Table
Lamp
This exquisite candelabra lamp
will light up any room. Can you see it sitting on a piano or mantle.
Lamp has 6 electric candles with
tons of fancy Pendalogue prisms. Except for rewiring the lamp it is how
I purchased it, but is do see more holes along the bottom of the arm
where more prisms can be hung.
Lamp is made of ornate brass and
measures 17.5" to the top of the candle cover 21" including the bulb and
12" at the widest spot. Base is made of marble and is 5" by 5".
Lamp has been rewired with new cloth cord and vintage style plug and a
toggle switch has been added for easy turning on and off.

Exquisite Handmade Lampshade
for Table Lamp
Lampshade is handmade with silk burnout velvet with four of
the panels in iridescent velvet that are ruched giving texture
to the shade. Underlining of wine silk charmeuse giving the
shade a wonderful warm glow when lit. Antique style gold
metallic and lavender braid accent the four corner panels.
metallic gold braid surrounds the top of shade and the ruched
panels. Bottom of shade
is trimmed with custom hand dyed silk fringe in warm Gold and Ambergine
with custom ALL GLASS beaded fringe in shades of copper,
gold metallic, iridescent blue, ruby red foil peach/gold. Accenting the
corners are matching hand-made tassels.
Shade measures 14" wide by 15" at tallest point including
7" silk fringe.
Hand-made glass beaded fringe is 3" long with amethyst flower beads at the
bottom of each strand. tassels on the four corners hangs an 1"
longer than fringe of lampshade. Lamp shade will fit a table
lamp or small floor lamp.
This lampshade would make a fabulous addition to
any rooms decor. With it's rich Victorian colors and sparkling
trim it will be the focal point of your room.

Cherub's Delight
This vintage lamp with
a custom hand made shade would make be a beautiful accent
to any room.
The lamp stands about
19" tall including shade. The vintage gold cherub base
measures 13" tall to the top of the socket and 5" wide.
The lamp has been rewired with new rayon covered cord
and the original vintage plug and is in perfect working order.
The tulip shade is custom made of rose, beige and brown
embroidered flowers on iridescent lavender silk taffeta.
Accented with cranberry burn out silk velvet layered over gold
silky fabric. Shade is trimmed with a metallic gold
and lavender braid and hand-beaded glass fringe in cranberry,
gold and rose beads. The shade measures
12" high including 3" glass beaded fringe
and 8" wide at the bottom. This is a wonderful lamp
and would add charm and elegance to any room!

The custom made exotic Art Deco table lampshade has
been created with burned out silk velvet in black and gold
leopard and deep olive green tiger patterns. Lined in gold and
trimmed with hand dyed silk fringe. Antique black jet appliqués,
beaded trim and beaded fringe embellish this gorgeous shade
created to add ambiance to your homes décor.
Lamp is cast iron with a green stone or glass accent measures
20.5" tall and has been rewired with appropriate antique style
cord and original plug.
